Subsides and Incentives
The
Osaka City Government and the
Osaka Prefectural
Government offer various subsidies & incentives to help companies and
organisations establish a new presence in Osaka.
Together with the
Osaka Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, they created the
Osaka Business Investment Center
(O-BIC). O-BIC's role is to provide potential investors with relevant
information and business support, in order to facilitate their entry into the
Japanese market via Osaka.
Currently, the following fields are prioritised to receive subsidies: medical
and social services, lifestyle-related, information and communications,
environment-related, human resources development, bio and nanotechnology, and
robot technology.
While there are guidelines prescribing eligibility for the subsidies,
applications may also be considered on a case by case basis. You might also be
able to take advantage of the corporate tax incentives that are being offered to
encourage foreign entrepreneurship in Osaka. Please
