The Exhibition runs from the 28th of January to  the 26th of February

DISCOVER JAPAN EXHIBITION features 54 playing cards blown up to poster size (as you can seen in the below picture), which depict not only 47 prefectures in Japan, but also their culture and food.

The Exhibition aims to attract some 200,000 Singaporeans to visit Japan in the year 2012, to reverse the decline in the number of visitors due largely to the earthquake and tsunami which took place in March 2011.

EXCHANGE created through the joint efforts of a number of people and ENERGY collected will be delivered from Nakanoshima, OSAKA, to Kansai and to disaster victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.

In consideration for the environment and overall electricity consumption, OSAKA Hikari Renaissance 2011 employs not only LEDs with lower electricity consumption for the electrical decoration, but also environmental-friendly electricity as much as possible.

Similar to the Aqua Metropolis Osaka 2009, waterfront events were also held in 2010, ending in success. And this year 2011, it is on again! Dedicated to the recent disaster in Japan

Dedicated to the recent disaster in Japan, Fasionquake Aid 2011 World Runway Premium will be held in Singapore in the 16th to 18th of September, with eight participating countries from around the world, namely Brazil, France, Italy, Japan, Russia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. This new genre fashion contest event will take the form of a tournament-style fashion battle with a given theme where the participating countries will pit their style techniques against one another.

The Tenjin Matsuri Festival is a summer festival dedicated to the Osaka Temmangu Shrine. It is held on 24 July every year. Following initiating ceremony, a portable shrine is paraded and transported by boat as part of the ceremony. On 25 July, while festival music is being played, fireworks display lights up the Okawa River and is watched by thousands of spectators along the riverside and riverboats passing along the river.
